Québec City, Canada Welcomes the world of speed skating

Since 2021, Centre de glaces Intact Assurance, the largest indoor skating complex in North America, encompasses a state-of-the-art 400m long oval and a dedicated short track speed skating rink, both are maintained in operation year-round.

In addition, it also has a 465m long running track, a training room that meets the specific needs of speed skaters, meeting rooms, a restaurant with healthy menus, and the Nagano Skate shop specialized in speed skating equipment.

  • Short and long track speed skating rink which meets the highest ISU safety standards. Even equiped with a “speedcable” electric propeller.
  • A Gym dedicated to speed skating athletes
  • 15 Technogym stationary bikes and 4 Stages stationary performance bikes
  • 465 m-long fenestrated running track
  • In-house PCN sport physiotherapists specialist
  • Outstanding ice condition with CO2 refregeration system and dedicated staff
  • Nagano Skate performance shop owned & opperated by former Olympians
 
The Gaétan-Boucher Training Center (CEGB) is a national high level performance structure for skaters in long track and short track. Qualified coaches, sports trainers and physiotherapists are working together for the aspiring top-level skaters.
