Our mission
The Centre de glaces Intact Assurance is home to the only indoor ice ring in Eastern Canada. With its four other rinks, two of which are international standards, it is the largest indoor skating center in America!
In addition to its 13,500 m2 of ice, the Centre de glaces Intact Assurance has the longest indoor racing track in Quebec, a restaurant, a boutique and multifunctional rooms for various types of meetings.
As a perfect place for physical activity, many time slots are offered for free skating and running, allowing residents of the Quebec city area to practice their activities for free. Visitors from outside the agglomeration can also take advantage of these activities for a small fee.
Programs for organized sports, for children, adults or athletes of all levels, are offered by various recognized and federated organizations: speed skating, field hockey, figure skating, running and others.

At the crossroads of the main roads and the sustainable transportation network, the Centre de glaces intact Assurance is at the heart of the Plateau Sainte-Foy. With its modern housing and its public market, this sector brings together a diverse and active population. The Centre de glaces Intact Assurance, with its sports facilities and unique reception, propose a diversified programmation ranging from free practice to high quality sports coaching offered through its partners, to evolve in an organized practice of ice sports.
The programmation includes regular and occasional events, from thematic skating evenings to major speed skating competitions, as well as the famous hockey tournaments. These are all events that make our athletes and Quebec city shine, positioning it as an exceptionally dynamic place to live.

The Centre de glaces Intact Assurance is an agglomeration facility whose construction was funded equally by the Government of Canada, the Government of Quebec and the City of Quebec

Promoting the practice of sports while providing facilities that meets the needs of the most committed athletes. Through this project, the Ville de Québec, the Corporation de gestion du Centre de glaces de Québec and all the partners share the following values:

The Centre d'entraînement Gaétan-Boucher has the necessary structures to support the growth of speed skating and to make Quebec city a Canadian pole of attraction and success.
ONE LOGO, ONE MEANING

The ring represents the fields of the various sports practiced at the Centre de glaces Intact Assurance, a living environment in full effervescence.
The two elliptical shapes that intersect the ring symbolize movement and recall the trace of skates in the ice. They are also a nod to the architecture and culture from our city, which the building echoes.
The blue color evokes the cold of winter and is in keeping with the identity of the Ville de Québec.
Intact Insurance's brand embodies its special commitment to the community.
